Howie Severson

Howie has 15 years of publishing experience as a project editor, graphic designer, production artist, and typesetter.

He is first and foremost a planner and an organizer. Whether it's figuring out how best to integrate elements in an attractive book design, creating an efficient typesetting production workflow, generating a complex project schedule, tracking elaborate art programs, or learning new technologies for producing content, Howie is always strategizing.

He is an Adobe Certified Expert in InDesign CS4 and produces www.indesignjunkie.com, a blog of comprehensive InDesign video tutorials. In his free time, Howie runs half marathons, reads a lot (mostly bound books), and plays strategic board games.
